Titan is a new mount for the MP250 that has been designed for the most demanding users of the titan tank. The gigantic tripod tank was planned to be produced as an exclusive item by the Center of Manufacture of Armaments and Mechanized Equipment (Kukus) in Russia until 2014. It was never put into production due to a huge number of orders that came from Russia’s Ministry of Defense. At the end, the order was transferred to the USSR/Russian Military Industry Export and Trade Corporation (MKMB-Kordza) in the Turkmenistan capital of Ashkhabad.
At present, a group of Ukrainian enthusiasts has rebuilt the hull of the titan 440 parts into a rattle-trap vehicle. It has a steeply protruding front and a long frontal arc (featuring at least seven vertical side windows) and a turret with a weapon configuration consisting of a conical bore with 10-power rifled elements (plus a few rifled rotary launchers), a solid drum magazine, and two turret guns (at least six-power each) for the double mounts.
The engine compartment has three door hatches for the passengers and the driver; the gunner sits inside the turret. The hull has three roof hatches and an additional floor hatch that allows for the access of the driver and the gunner. The floor is made of several sections (including two welded compartments and the floor of a small garage space) of a light fiber reinforced concrete mixed with other materials.
