Why do I make hoodies?

How I started making them.
I started making them as a joke for my close friends. They said it was cool and I wanted to see how much people would think it was cool. I made one for a friend who loved it and then he ordered some more from me. He told his friends about it, so I just kept making them to keep up with the demand. There were enough orders that I couldn’t make all of them by myself, so I had to start hiring people. It has been interesting because everyone wants different things on their sweatshirts, but that’s what makes being an entrepreneur fun!
Me – why do I care so much about this topic?
I was walking through the hallway at school and I saw a student wearing a Ye Must be born again sweatshirt. I was curious to find out what it meant. So, when I got home, I googled it and found out that it is a phrase used by Christians to believe in Jesus Christ as savior. It had me so curious that I wanted to know more about this faith, so now I am researching different religions.
How you can help
It all started when I was reading the bible and came across a verse in John 3:3. It says, Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. This verse stuck with me for days until finally I had this idea that everyone should have a reminder to come back to who they are. So Ye Must Be Born Again was created.
How it all started
The Ye Must Be Born Again line came about in 2011 when my friend and I were talking about our faith and how we are called to share it. He told me You have to be born again and I replied with Ye must be born again. We started saying this phrase a lot, but didn’t know what we could do with it until he came up with the idea of putting it on a sweatshirt. This is where the design for our first shirt came from. It was definitely a risk making such a bold statement on our first product, but it ended up working out well because people loved them!
